About me:
I grew up in a single parent family, raised with two older sisters and a hard working mother. My mother tried her best to support the family, so someone had to take over in preparing meals. The free time my mother did have, she spent with her family in the kitchen or the Bible. Today we still share recipies together that I can share with my wife and daughter.

Cinnamon Plum Jam

Reviewed on Sep. 4, 2008 by Jutta
We bought a house two years ago and when I cleared the brush in the backyard I found a plum tree. I set out to make whatever I could. As with some other reviewers, my jam would not set either. I followed the recipe exactly. So, I'm gonna try one more time. We will use this batch as syrup as others have suggested.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed on Sep. 3, 2008 by Jutta
I ran out of my german pudding mix and then, for the first time, read the ingredients on the package. So, I set out to find a recipe with the same ingredients and this was it. Fabulous. I've made it three times already, double the recipe and fill it in small dishes. To avoid the skin (I love it but my kids don't), I place a piece of saran wrap directly on top of the hot pudding and it works great. A delicious recipe and keeper. Thank you very much.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed on Aug. 17, 2008 by Emily
I changed it up a little by using 4 large tomatoes instead of the tomato sauce, mainly because I had bought too many at my local farmer's market. But I thought it was awesome with the fresh tomatoes in it. Good meal, and very good left overs.
